At first, Lisa Boyd was surprised when her 16-year-old son came to her and told her he’d like to donate his organs in the event of that something ever happened to him.
Tyler Klassen was taking driver education at the time and the discussion had come up in one of his classes. Klassen came home and told his mother of his wishes. Boyd told him that they wouldn’t have to worry about that because she would be long gone before that would ever have to be considered.
